Evidence-based psychology
My online therapy practice offers a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where your personal journey is acknowledged and respected. Whether you are dealing with challenges at work, in your personal life, or in your family relationships, I have successfully empowered individuals for over 30 years — first as a corporate coach and as a therapist since 2006.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in evidence-based psychology, drawing from various psychological theories and utilising a range of techniques tailored to your unique needs.
Integrative therapy
Combines various psychological methods to create a tailored treatment plan. This approach addresses the person holistically, considering emotional, mental, and sometimes physical aspects.
Psycho-education
Raises awareness about mental health, enlightening on disorders, symptoms, treatments, and management strategies for a better understanding and handling of mental health.
Motivational therapy
Stimulates personal motivation to change problematic behaviours. It helps resolve ambivalence and find personal reasons for change, particularly useful in addiction treatment.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
A psychotherapy that addresses problems by changing thoughts and behaviours. It is effective against anxiety, depression, focusing on concrete solutions to improve well-being.
Person-centred
therapy
Created by Carl Rogers, it prioritises empathy, authenticity, and unconditional acceptance, offering a safe space for the client to explore and resolve their difficulties with confidence.
Your first session
Your first session begins with a warm welcome, during which I’ll introduce myself and give you a brief overview of my background and therapeutic approach.
We will then move into discussing what has led you to seek therapy and any specific symptoms or issues you’d like to address. We’ll explore the changes you hope to make in your life and what you aim to achieve through therapy.
Once you are comfortable, and with your consent, we may also discuss your life history, including childhood experiences, education, relationships, work, and family.
I hold a safe space for you and together we’ll begin your therapeutic journey, where you can explore the areas of your life you’d like to develop, as well as your hopes and aspirations for the future.
